Pipe dream?

CAN VITAMIN B6 HELP YOUR MEMORY?

-

If you break down in your car, can you call the AA to come to you even if you’re not a member?

Yes, but you will have to join up over the phone and pay a much higher membership fee before they come out ($195 as opposed to $79-$89). However, it’s worth knowing about. It’s important to also know if you have accidentally locked a baby or child in your car and can’t get back in, you can call AA Emergency to attend the car, even if you’re not a member. It’s a special service they do. The same applies if you see someone else’s baby left in a locked, unattended vehicle. You can call AA to gain entry to the car even if you’re not a member. Something else that’s not widely understood is that if you’re an AA member and a passenger in a non-member’s car which breaks down, you can call the AA and have a breakdown vehicle attend. They don’t have to join. When you join the AA as a standard personal member, it is you that’s covered, not your car(s).

Is it true that taking vitamin B6 can help you recall your dreams? Does it affect the vividness of the dreams themselves? And does the reverse apply? If vivid dreams bother you when you wake up, can you cut back on vitamin B6 so you don’t remember them as well?

I heard a doctor on the radio referring to this recently. She said that vitamin B6 does help you recall dreams, according to Science Daily and new research from the University of Adelaide. Participants in the research who rarely remembered their dreams reported improvements after completing the study. They took the vitamin immediately before going to bed. Vitamin B6 did not affect the vividness, bizarreness or colour of their dreams. Nor did it affect any other aspects of their sleep. Does this mean the opposite would also apply? If you could lose vitamin B6 from your body would you be less likely to be bothered by dreams you’ve had when you wake? It seems likely, but I can find nothing about that. I suggest you talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
