SMALL FIRE

Six fire trucks were at a factory on Parkway Drive in Rosedale on Monday where there was a small electrical fire. Takapuna Fire Station’s Evan Lamberton says the fire was ‘‘small but growing’’ and it took a while to locate because the building was smoke logged. He says once it was found it was extinguished quickly. Police were called and blocked the road off for a period of time and firefighters spent several hours clearing smoke from the building using a specialist truck.
