FREE FLU JABS

Certain eligible people will be able to get a free flu jab from their local pharmacy. Pharmacies have been offering flu vaccinations since 2013 but, until now, all customers have had to pay for them. Now, those 65 years and older, and pregnant women, will be able to get their free jab from their pharmacy. No appointment is needed but people should allow about 30 minutes, plus 20 minutes after getting the vaccine in case they have a reaction.
