YELLOW PERIL – GARDENIA ALERT

Yellow leaves signal that acidloving plants like gardenias, daphnes and camellias need attention. The soil may contain the nutrients plants need for healthy growth but the nutrients aren’t accessible if the pH balance isn’t right for the plant. Give yellow-leafed gardenias a foliar spray and water the root zone with Epsom salts (magnesium sulphate) – 1 teaspoon to 4 litres water – and they’ll green up very quickly. Or use Sequestrone which has additional trace elements.
