Tat 2 Hat is a a creative hatmaking competition for all tertiary students enrolled in a special needs school. The aim is to re-use holey socks, bottle tops, crafts, patches and any unwanted material that would normally go in the rubbish bin. Wairau Valley Special School is hosting and judging all entries, and winners will be announced at an award ceremony September 20. This year’s theme is ‘‘Auckland’’.
