It can take place in the comfort of your own home and can be scheduled after work hours, or on weekends for your convenience.
‘‘We talk to the customer, get a brief, and then work towards meeting those specifications,’’ Kay says.
As well as consultations, Kay’s clients are able to request sketches with plant lists or full concept and planting plans.
She can also assist with plant sourcing and delivery, the installation of small planting designs, ongoing garden maintenance once the design is installed, or larger installations with assistance from a trusted contractor.
‘‘Whether it’s simply a sketch of ideas and some plant suggestions, the supply and delivery of plants, or a full landscape plan – there are many options to suit your budget,’’ Kay says.
