POLICE PURSUIT
A man has been charged following a police pursuit that spanned from Henderson to Upper Harbour Highway. Police say a car failed to stop on the morning of August 24 and a pursuit started. It came to a stop near Greenhithe Bridge after the 23 year old male allegedly drove the wrong way on a motorway. The driver has been charged with reckless driving, failing to stop, breaching prison release conditions and driving while suspended. The incident caused congestion but that cleared quickly, says NZTA.
