CRAZY FILM: This Papier Mache Boulder is Actually Really Heavy is an award-winning indie sci-fi comedy feature that is screening at 4th Wall Theatre on Friday, September 30 at 7.30pm.

CAFE´ BUSINESS: The new heartwrenc­hing New Zealand documentar­y by former New Plymouth director Lisa Burd follows an Auckland couple launching their cafe´ Monterey with three young Samoan boys. LEN LYE: A free documentar­y about Len Lye, the filmmaker and kinetic sculptor screens free every day at 1pm and 3pm in the Len Lye Centre Cinema. Flip and Two Twisters by New Zealand filmmaker Shirley Horrocks explores Lye’s career and ideas with the help of historical footage and excerpts from his films. GERMAN FILMS: Bookings are now being taken for the free German Film Festival screening each day at the Len Lye Centre Cinema from Tuesday October 4 to Sunday October 9.
