Helpers wanted for after school
A wonderful opportunity is just waiting for the right volunteers who are willing to offer not just their time and expertise but also a little bit of their heart to the children of Marfell who are enrolled in the Rising Achievers Afterschool Care Programme.
The programme offers extramural activities such as support with swimming, dancing and resilience-based activities such as cooking and caring for others.
The programme runs every weekday during the school terms and the volunteers would need to be at the Marfell School from approximately 2.50pm until 4.40pm.
As with all volunteer roles if you can help out for one day or five it would be a great help. Wednesday is one day that is short of volunteers but every hour, no matter what day, will make a difference. Rosters will be arranged to suit your available time.
