1. COOKING CLASS

Learn how to make succulent juicy cabbage wraps and try some national Ukrainian drinks and snacks. Details on page 18.

2. RED PUPPY APPEAL

This takes place this Friday and Saturday (March 24 and 25) to raise funds for the breeding and training of guide dogs. The cost of breeding and training is met from public donations and sponsorship.

3. NEBULA MONTH

March is planetary nebula month at the New Plymouth Observatory. You can view examples through the telescopes or on the big screen. More on page 19.

4. FALLS PREVENTION

Steady as you go is an exercise programme designed to improve strength and balance. Classes are at Age Concern on Fridays at 11am.

5. DANCE SCHOOL
