Over Easter several teams from Taranaki Seniors tennis players participat­ed in a threeday tournament held at Keri Keri and Whangarei. Teams entered played in 75+ 70+ 60+ and 55+ age groups. The ladies 70+ won their section and were presented with gold medals at a dinner on Sunday night in Whangarei where it was also announced that Taranaki Seniors won NZ Club Of The Year. The next national event to be held in Tauranga in 1918. Several players have entered in the World Masters which commence on Saturday, April 22. Taranaki Seniors play every Sunday morning from 9 – 12 and everyone over the age of 35 are most welcome. Any inquiries Beth 7695566/021973487.
