But how does it work? NaturalFlow harnesses forces that have been quietly working together for thousands of years to break down and decompose waste and positions them in an enclosed eco-system that simulates the natural forest floor. It will treat and break down your wastewater – just as nature does – and then reintroduce it into the environment when it is perfectly safe to do so.
The clever system separates black water (toilets and kitchen sink) from grey water (showers, baths, basins etc.) and treats each group appropriately to reduce solid waste products.
For grey water this means using a series of natural settling and filtering processes to make solids redundant, while black water is sent to the purpose designed WORMORATOR, where tiger worms break down the solid waste and convert it into water soluble nutrients. The water is then blended together for final disposal into the soil, as per council regulations.
