New Waipapa branch for Kaitaia business

-

Against the trend for businesses closing small town branches and moving to bigger firms in the city, Family Finance has reversed this trend and is setting up shop in Waipapa at Waipapa Autocourt.

From small beginnings, and after four generations in the finance game, Archibald Family Finance is growing. Famous in Kaitaia for providing vehicle finance, family celebrations funding, personal loans and business finance, Family

Finance has partnered with Waipapa Autocourt and is keen to repeat the successful Kaitaia business model.

‘‘We are very excited to be branching out,’’ Rosemary

Archibald, director of Family

Finance says. ‘‘Although we started the business last week, we are launching the new partnership, Waipapa Autocourt with a huge Blackout sale this weekend. There will be savings of up to $4000 on vehicles bought between this Thursday and Sunday. The finance team will be on hand to assist, there will be balloons for the kids and every purchaser earns a day stay in the Far North at the highly rated Golden Sand Beachfront Accommodation.

Brian and Rosemary Archibald are joined in this new partnership by Ron Barker, the Branch Manager, who is known and trusted in the mid north. The existing superlative team of Merv Foley and Pete Herbert are staying on in the new ownership. Mal Liddington remains in an advisory role, but is keen to polish up his squash – and digger gardening skills.

‘‘I am very excited to have Mal more available for my business ventures,’’ Suzie Liddington, wife of Mal, says.

Mal began the business in 1984, mostly selling used imported vehicles for over 20 years. He has been a huge supporter in the community and a leading light in the business association in Waipapa.

‘‘I am looking forward to less work and more play!’’ Mal says.
