RECYCLING RISE

Between July 2015 and the end of June 2016 a total of 4,004.76 tonnes of recycling was collected at kerbside by the Waimakariri District Council, compared with a total of 3,846.72 between July 2014 and June 2015. During the same period a total of 1461.74 tonnes was recycled via Hurunui Council’s kerbside recycling collections and transfer stations.
