NEW WATER CHIEF

The Hurunui Water Project has a new chief executive, a downscaled plan, and has bought out Ngai Tahu’s shareholding. New chief executive Chris Pile has taken over from Alex Adam. The Hurunui District Council would look at investing $500,000 into the project. Submissions on the proposal close Sunday.
