When the business community from the heart of North Canterbury joined together recently to launch the Guide To Amberley, I was pleased to celebrate with them.

Local owners from existing and new enterprises throughout the area met in the Nor’wester, along with councillors, local media and friends, expressing common passion for our neighbourhood.

The highlight was introducing the new promotional pamphlet, now freely available throughout Amberley. When visitors have more to do and see in one place, it becomes worth the journey and justifies a stop.

The Guide is cleverly created in rustic style, with a logo acknowledging the vineyard region of which Amberley is the gateway.

If you’re lucky enough, like me, to have it accessible to you right on your doorstep, enjoy. And if you haven’t been here for a while, come on out, pick up your copy of the Guide, and make a day of it.
