Repco Ran­giora marks dy­namic new look with sale

The Repco Ran­giora store is hold­ing a big Ran­giora Sale Bo­nanza event this Satur­day and ev­ery­one is in­vited. Repco is the largest provider of qual­ity af­ter­mar­ket ve­hi­cle parts, so­lu­tions and ac­ces­sories in New Zea­land and this is some­thing the Repco Ran­giora store is cel­e­brat­ing.

To cel­e­brate a re­cent refresh, the Repco Ran­giora team will be hold­ing a sausage siz­zle from 10am to 2pm, with all pro­ceeds go­ing to Can­teen, and plenty of in-store spe­cials on the day. The pub­lic will also be able to meet the team, browse through the store and sign up to Repco’s Plat­inum Card which pro­vides a 10 per cent dis­count on prod­ucts storewide.

The refresh cre­ates a dy­namic, in­no­va­tive yet func­tional store.

Branch man­ager Ste­wart King says the store now stocks well over 100,000 au­to­mo­tive parts and has the largest range of oil in Ran­giora.

‘‘No-one in Ran­giora car­ries the range of car parts that we do. Repco is con­sis­tently re-in­vest­ing in more parts for more cars which makes this what an ‘auto store ought to be’.

‘‘Our new store refresh was im­por­tant and nec­es­sary to en­able us to show­case our ex­pand­ing range of au­to­mo­tive parts and ac­ces­sories to keep up with cus­tomer de­mand, which in turn means we have more avail­able when our cus­tomers need it.’’

Ste­wart heads a skilled team of eight staff who, he says, are all pas­sion­ate about the au­to­mo­tive in­dus­try. Within the team there is a full-time sales rep­re­sen­ta­tive who ser­vices the trade in­dus­try.

‘‘It’s all part of the per­sonal ser­vice we give to our cus­tomers. Our knowl­edge is hugely ben­e­fi­cial, par­tic­u­larly if a car has failed a war­rant of fit­ness and needs a new part,’’ he says.

‘‘We can iden­tify the part re­quired and sup­ply a new one faster than any­one else.’’

Ste­wart him­self has been with the store for 12 years, hav­ing worked in all ar­eas of the busi­ness be­fore tak­ing on the branch man­ager role.

‘‘Other staff mem­bers have also been with the store for long pe­ri­ods of time and we have both men and women aged 16 to 63 years, so there is a good range of ex­pe­ri­ence and skills within the team,’’ he says.

Repco has 95 years of mo­tor­ing know-how sup­ply­ing parts, ac­ces­sories and ad­vice to New Zea­land driv­ers and mo­tor­ing pro­fes­sion­als. With 86 stores na­tion­wide and ac­cess to more than 450,000 parts, Repco is New Zea­land’s largest sup­plier of qual­ity au­to­mo­tive parts.
