NEW ZEALAND’S PAYROLL providers are constantly enhancing their offering and introducing new functionality.
For example, iPayroll has a new Timelogs function which, when enabled, allows employees to log their time against activities through their payslip kiosk – all through any Internet-enabled device. It’s flexible enough to allow clients to either record the time but not integrate it with the payroll, or do both.
Over at MYOB the latest feature of its Essentials Payroll is the payroll intermediary service that automates payments to staff and PAYE as well as IRD reporting obligations.
YourPay is MYOB’s mobile web app that lets staff complete timesheets and access their pay slips on demand. It captures data from employees in real time and is ideal for remote workers.
It helps streamline pay runs by capturing time and attendance data at source, while minimising manual data entry, double handling and the risk of human error. Planned features include the ability to onboard new employees and manage leave requests, as well as the ability to connect with other HR and time capture solutions.
