PWC says that it’s not sur­pris­ing lo­cal CEOs are in­creas­ingly sen­si­tive to the pace of change and the im­pact it’s hav­ing on their busi­nesses. “One of the key themes that came through from the in-depth in­ter­views was that CEOs are fac­ing new, tech­nol­ogy-en­abled com­peti­tors from over­seas who would pre­vi­ously have over­looked en­ter­ing the New Zealand mar­ket. So how are busi­ness lead­ers re­spond­ing? PWC asked CEOs which ar­eas they most want to strengthen and three shone through: in­no­va­tion, dig­i­tal and hu­man cap­i­tal.”
