Aromatic firestarte­rs.

YOU WILL NEED • Wax flakes • Muffin tin and paper liner • Cotton wicks • Pine cones • Bay leaves • Cinnamon sticks (broken up) • Sprigs of rosemary • Star anise and/or other aromatic dried herbs and spices at hand

IT REALLY IS AS SIMPLE AS IT LOOKS. Fill each muffin cup with your aromatic treasures, using some to help hold the wick. Melt the wax flakes over medium heat, then pour into each of the cups. Leave to cool completely. Use only in a log-burning fireplace or outdoor fire pit.
