WHO IS ENCOURAGING SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY?

Demonstrating social and environmental responsibility is no longer a tack-on for many New Zealand businesses. It is becoming a core principle. A key driver in the campaign to equip New Zealand’s commercial sector with a desire to do good is the Sustainable Business Network. From large-scale corporates and government agencies to small-scale food producers and social entrepreneurs, it emboldens businesses to reshape the meaning of profit into a wider definition beyond a numbers game.

It’s about ideas, doing well and doing good Wendy Kerr, director, Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, University of Auckland
