Dunedin Pub­lic Art Gallery, 11 March to 25 June The Ben­son & Hedges Fash­ion De­sign Awards – in ex­is­tence from 1964 to the mid 1990s – shaped the na­tion’s fash­ion his­tory, pro­pelled the pro­file of New Zealand fash­ion, were a launch pad for as­pir­ing de­sign­ers and trans­formed am­a­teur dress­mak­ers into fash­ions icons.
