Open Studios Whanganui
24 March to 2 April A behind-the-scenes peek at the burgeoning artistic hub of Whanganui as more than 100 artists and 75 studios showcase their practice in settings that include heritage warehouses, pop-collective spaces and quirky riverside galleries. Now in its 16th year, the event features glass, ceramics, photography, printmaking and painting with a line-up made up of emerging artists and well-known names including printmaker Sue Cooke, glass artist David Traub and photographer/painter Rita Dibert.
