2 to 5 June, Queenstown Gardens Queenstown twinkles as the second Southern Lights Project is switched on and the township’s historic Queenstown Gardens is ablaze with light installations, illuminated trees, fairy lights, flash modes, suspended LED lanterns and an open- air cinema and bar. Featuring works by New Zealand light artist Angus Muir, TomTom Productions and Mapping Mondays, the action includes an art walk on Marine Parade that lights up when the sun goes down, and a specially curated work saluting the 150th anniversary of the Queenstown Gardens in 2017. luma.nz
