The peaches

• Black Boy*, the traditional NZ red peach, descended from the French Pêche de Vigne, a very healthy peach variety, and there are enough to bottle when the spring weather spares the blossoms.

• Dwarf nectarines, fruited but the fruit were eaten by the geese - I feel I am not to be allowed nectarines in this incarnation.
