Where to aim
I try to shoot the animal with a silenced .22 at the centre of a cross between the ears and eyes. The animal drops to the ground when shot and will bleed profusely from the wound, and sometimes from mouth and nose. Check that it is dead by touching its eye. If there is no reaction it is dead. If it is not, put another bullet into its brain to make sure.
