THE WATERSAVER is a smart and easy-to-use Kiwi innovation that prevents the loss of valuable tank water in the event of an accident. Even better, it is a plug-in device that does not require a tradesperson or installation manual.

Watersaver’s founder Jon Taylor was working as an electrician in Raglan when he met several tank owners who had lost their valuable water due to accidents like taps being left on or a water pipe bursting. Research revealed that more than 45% of water tank owners have experienced accidental loss of water in the past, often emptying their tank.

There was no off-the-shelf solution for the problem so Jon designed one, focusing on creating a small, plug-in unit that will cut power to the pump if it keeps running for an uninterrupted period of 30 minutes.
