Twelve years ago, an enterprising couple started creating a permaculture food forest and perennial farm on a dusty, bare block in a dry Hawke’s Bay valley. Today, it’s unrecognisable. We take a walk with Jo Duff, discover her newest project and why it involves cattle, and look at some of her weirdest food crops.
