Motorhead Festival

-

The Motorhood Festival, formerly known as D-Comp, is back in 2015 bigger and better than ever, and will be held at Ricoh Taupo Motorsport Park on March 8. The one-day fixture is no longer just a drift event, but is now a day full of action including motocross, a truck show, burnout competitions, trade stands, dyno battles and airbrushing. If none of that makes you want to come down to check it out, there will also be cruising sessions similar to the recent Chrome Expression, at which you can take your mates out onto the circuit. So whether you’re into bikes, dyno queens, cruising the circuit with your mates or the intense D-Comp competition that will be held, there is something for everybody’s entertainment. If you can’t make the day, there will be a live-stream feed for you to watch your favourite New Zealand drifters as it happens, while at home in style. Tickets cost $20 for the general public, kids under five are free, and a family pass — which includes two adults and two children under 15 years — is only $50. For more information on the day and the live stream, head to driftmotorsportnz.com.
