REunion

-

Rotary fans round New Zealand will be stoked to hear that there is a dedicated track day just for Rotaries to finish the 2015 summer off in style. REunion is a new event, which will be held at the Ricoh Taupo Motorsport Park March 28 and will contain some very entertaining features, including a show and shine, a burnout competition, drifting, flag-drop drag racing, and a drive-ya-mates session, so whatever motorsport discipline tickles your fancy REunion has you covered. If you want to take part in the rotary madness, $150 buys you one driver pass, one vehicle pass and two pit-crew passes. If you register after February 20, the price will hike up to $200. If you want use of the pit garages, they’ll cost you $100, but you also have the ability to leave your vehicle there overnight. If you’d just like to come down and watch, spectator tickets are $10, and it will cost you a gold coin donation to go for a ride in a friend’s car. Entrants’ race cars must contain a log book, and if road registered, must have a warrant of fitness and registration, but if for some reason your car is not currently road legal, if it’s built to an extremely high quality you may apply, and your car will be scrutineered accordingly. Search REunion 2015 on Facebook for more information.
