CHECKLIST FOR CORRECTLY WEIGHING YOUR RACE CAR:

The floor surface must be perfectly level to weigh your vehicle. Shims can be used under the scales if necessary, as small variations in level can throw out the reading

Ensure tyre pressures are set equal

Driver must be seated in the vehicle during weighing

The required quantity of race fuel needs to be present in the vehicle

Bounce the vehicle on each corner to remove any unwanted suspension bind

Tyres must remain centre on the scales

Reconfirm tyre pressure to ensure ride heights remain consistent
