It’s important that you cool the engine and turbocharger properly before turning your car off. A turbo timer allows you to run a car at idle unattended for a specified-period of time to cool down things down, which helps eliminate carbon buildup and oil cooking in the turbo lines — over time the lines can become blocked up with carbon and sludge if not cooled correctly. The Shadow Turbo Timer Controller allows you to adjust the desired time from a simple 10-second cooldown, right out to 19 minutes, to effectively protect your engine and help to extend turbocharger life.
