Targa New Zealand is the main staple of Targa’s yearly line-up and incorporates perhaps the best aspect of any event — thrashing thousands of kilometres’ worth of closed public roads. It will kick off at Hampton Downs, and competitors will head to and around Hamilton for two days before heading to New Plymouth and Palmerston North, then finishing in Wellington: five days of epic roads, ridiculously fast cars, and sometimes even the littlest bit of carnage for that added excitement.
