MORE BONNEVILLE RECORDS FOR CMR RACING

Speedweek has been good to the Cook Motor Racing (CMR) team picking up four records, which include running 201mph in the Synergy V8powered NX Coupe ‘Cookie’ making it the first two-litre two-wheel-drive to crack 200mph EVER! The F1 V10 powered streamliner ‘Wairua’ has been making solid progress all week and reached a best speed of 291mph (at the time of printing). It has also secured a class record (slower class) and is well on the way to running over 300mph. Speedweek was still underway at the time of printing, so we will have a full update next issue, including how all the other Kiwi teams went.
