TOYOTA 2JZ

-

Probably the most sought-after engine swap of all on our list, the 2JZ is another one of those motors where the manufacturer just got it so damn right, even in factory trim. These motors are seemingly indestructible, and, with the right bolt-ons, will easily push your car into the 750kW zone and still retain that reliability. These are extremely popular in both drag racing and drifting, but that does mean that those pushing the limits have depleted the stocks considerably, pushing up prices in recent years. A stroked 3400cc 2JZ-GTE is hard to go past if you’re looking for big torque to take on those V8s. Expect to pay $4500 or more to secure a complete engine.
