Not every All Black can be lightning quick in the sense that they can cover the ground quickly. The need for speed lies in the mind and refers to attitude.

The All Blacks pride themselves on their speed at getting o the ground after they have made a tackle. They need to be quick to see where attacking opportunities lie and quick to close their defensive gaps when they open.

SPEED FREAK Everyone has to be able to react and think quickly in the All Blacks.
