DAMIAN McKENZIE

He’s expected to shift into the key play-making role and wear the No 10 shirt for most of the season. But while Damian McKenzie will wear a different jersey in 2018, it won’t be such a big departure from the norm as his key role will be the same as always – to get his hands on the ball and ignite the Chiefs.

He is an extraordinary playmaker with the ability to find holes and make them for others. Certainly no defence he meets will ever take their eyes off him or give him any space to operate.
