The last team to win back-to-back titles was the Chiefs who were champions in 2012 and 2013.

Before that, you have to go back to the Bulls in 2009 and 2010, then the Crusaders in 2005 and 2006. The Crusaders are the only team to have three in a row when they were victorious in 1998, 1999 and 2000.
