Lightforce HTX230 set to revolutionise vehicle lighting

-

Known for their innovative design and technology, the team from Lightforce Australia is back once again with a light that is set to shake things up. The Australian-made HTX230 is the ultimate hybrid of HID and LED technology, providing the instant flood of LED combined with the unmatched longdistance of HID, eliminating the need for additional spotlights and bars beyond one set of HTX. Characterised by its distinctive design, the HTX230 features a 70w-HID globe in the centre of a 170mm reflector, which works to provide the long distance component of the product. The reflector is surrounded by 20 LEDs in a circular pattern, which provide a wide spread that is equivalent to that produced by a standard 20” LED light bar. The HTX230 produces an impressive beam pattern with a distance of 1767m at 1 lux. A single set of HTX230 can provide the combined distance and spread of a standard set of round lights plus a light bar in a single package. Paul Ashman, of Traxion explains the HTX230 was designed to fill a gap in the market for a hybrid style product that successfully merged HID and LED technology; “no other light achieves what the HTX230 does – it is truly one of a kind”. The HTX230 is completely switchable – users can choose to operate the HID and LED options simultaneously for maximum output or independently of one another. The first light of its kind to hit the market, the Lightforce HTX230 is built from tough glass filled nylon, as used on the ever-popular Lightforce Genesis and features an IP68 rating to protect against moisture and contaminant ingress. Like all lights within the Lightforce range, the HTX230 is built to withstand the toughest and most extreme conditions on the planet.
