Hereworth 4WD Safari – The

Rissington 4WD Run; The Hereworth School Old Boys’ Associatio­n 6th bi-annual Hereworth 4WD trip will be based in and around Rissington in the Hawke’s Bay crossing private land. Accommodat­ion will be camping in a central location. Numbers are strictly limited so be in quick. Price includes a two-course meal Friday and Saturday night, two full cooked breakfasts, two lunches, hot beverages at the campsite, access to private properties on designated 4WD routes, camping at a single campsite ( treks will be in a cloverleaf fashion). Event starts from 10.00am onwards on Friday with later arrivals for Saturday. All vehicles to have current Warrant of Fitness and a minimum of good condition all terrain or better tyres; have proper tow hooks front and rear (rated for snatch towing) or a tow bar with the tow ball removed (all tow balls must be removed); must carry proper snatch strap (limited number available for sale on registrati­on), spade or shovel, fire extinguish­er and first aid kit. Safety belts are to be worn at all times. Pricing $ 475 for one vehicle (covers two persons per vehicle) $ 180 for every additional adult in the vehicle $ 80 for a child 12 years and under (maximum of four passengers per vehicle).
