Toyota NZ is offering five different LC 70 variants made up of three different body styles and t wo grades of single and double cab ( LT and LX) and one ( LT) grade of wagen. Now that the 4.5 litre diesel- turbo V8 is equipped as standard with a Diesel Particulate Filter ( DPF) all are Euro5 compliant, and with Side Curtain and Drivers’ Knee airbags the single cab models enjoy a maximum fivestar ANCAP rating. The key upgrades can be summed up as follows: All models now Euro5 compliant. All now get DPFs. Single cab models get bigger ( up for 90 to 150L) fuel tanks. Front and rear diff locks now standard. Auto locking front hubs now standard. Cruise control now standard. Upgraded info centre w/ Bluetooth, CD player and USB. Full electronic safety suite incl. VSC, A-TRAC, EBD, HAC, and BA. Reversing camera now standard.
