Yokohama’s all-new Geolander M/T G003 has been engineered using the company’s proprietary Geo-Shield technology to give you ultimate traction whether you’re rolling down the highway or leaving the pavement behind.
Geo-Shield technology combines multiple sidewall plies, steel belts, a full nylon cap and a high turn-up carcass for the best possible traction and protection.
Features of the new M/T tyre include aggressive sidewall armour which not only creates a bold new look, it also delivers exceptional protection from damage as well as enhanced traction off-road.
The tread pattern itself sees the block-to-void ratio and placement of sipes have been optimised for both off-road grip and shorter stopping distances on wet roads, while mud and stone ejectors protect against stone drilling and help keep the voids clear.
A new high density, triple polymer blend, tread compound and wide, flat profile which distributes stresses more evenly across the entire tread area offers longer life (Yokohama claims an improvement of eight percent).
The new tread design also incorporates advanced variable pitch elements which provide a quantifiable (factory tests produced a 2.3 dB drop) reduction in ride noise on the road.
