New BFGoodrich MudTerrain tyre

New “Mud-Phobic” bars on the T/ A KM3’s shoulders are designed to release compacted mud for enhanced traction in muddy or soft soil conditions. And the tyre’s Terrain-Attack tread pattern includes massive tread blocks designed to deliver incredible grip from any angle of approach. The new T/A KM3’s advanced Krawl-TEK tread compound is designed to enhance grip on rock and other slick surfaces as well. Its Linear Flex Zone also allows it to envelop objects at reduced inflation for even more grip when climbing, while the TractionArmor Sidewall Sculpture and notched shoulder design boosts traction capabilities further in soft soil and mud. Sidewall protection, pinch shock resistance and chipand-tear resistance on gravel is also improved thanks to CoreGard Max sidewall technology derived from the BFGoodrich Baja T/A KR3 desert-racing tyre line. This technology helps prevent splitting or puncturing with increased thickness that protects the critical sidewall failure zone. In addition, the BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/ A KM3 is designed to offer solid street performance and acceptable on-road noise levels for the rides to and from the trail. The new T/A KM3 will be available in 15-through 18-inch and 20 and 22-inch rim diameters. There are 54 sizes, including 33 additional sizes from the previous generation, for best coverage of the 17-20inch rim diameter market, the largest segment in this tyre category. BF Goodrich is also offering the new T/ A KM3 in three sizes for the growing UTV sector.
