The Wrangler is built for one purpose: to be spectacular off the road. And it certainly is, getting progressively better the further you go into the wilderness. On the road it’s not quite so impressive, but its lumbering nature and massive road and wind noise actually goes to make up a big part of its charm. This is the evolution of the original 4WD, the 1942 Willys Jeep. Two wheelbase options add breadth to the range.
