The initial plan was to place the coil packs on the rocker covers, but Brent thought this would look a bit messy. He then considered mounting them on flat bases of the inner guards. Though better, it wasn’t quite there, so Carl decided to mount them on custom brackets on the chassis rails — perfect, as they are hidden from sight but accessible if needed.
