March 2017 may go down in the history books as the day that PBs were smashed and records were broken. Top Doorslammer saw four of the current top 10 make a significant improvement, as did Top Alcohol. In one hit, the Alsop family became holders of New Zealand’s first five-second small block and first five-second altered, and Euan Mark drove the iconic ‘Puff ‘n’ Stuff’ T-bucket into the 8.3s. The bump spot to make it into our 100 Quickest V8 Drag Racers list, which was 8.65s at the start of the season, is now a mind-blowing 8.39s!
