Balclutha Garden Club meets at Creative Arts Centre, Clyde St, 7.30pm. Speakers are Debbie Chittock and Moira Ross on organic vegetable gardening. Visitors welcome.

Brockville Garden Club meets in the Community Church Hall at 1.30pm. Speaker from Otago Regional Council on invasive plants. Afternoon tea, sales table, raffle.
Otago Bonsai Society meets in the Musselburgh Church hall, cnr Queens Dr and New St at 7.30pm. Brian will demonstrate how to make an artificial rock. Pete will critique a tree. Trees of the month: Autumn colours, berries, slanting style, nonschedule. Contact Joy
