Fire station facelift
Dunedin’s central fire station will get a new lick of paint for the first time in more than a decade.
Senior Station Officer Kerry McNamara said scaffolding on the Castle St side of the 86yearold building started to go up on Monday.
He did not know how long the maintenance would take, but was pleased the frequently photographed building would get a facelift.
