Seeking trade deals

Wellington: The Government is eyeing a free trade deal with four Latin American countries and Trade Minister Todd McClay says it will be at the top of his agenda at meetings in Colombia this week.

Mr McClay and Foreign Minister Gerry Brownlee will be at a summit meeting of the Pacific Alliance, a regional organisation involving Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Peru.

Mr Brownlee is also stopping off in Cuba to meet his counterpart, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla. — NZN
