Possible homicide

Auckland: Police are treating a death at a house in Otara, Auckland last night as a possible homicide.

They were called to the incident at a house near the southern corner of Cobham Cres and Bairds Rd just before 7pm.

One person was dead and another person was in critical condition in hospital undergoing surgery, police said.

‘‘We are not aware . . . of any public safety risk, but we are still in the initial inquiry stages.’’
